| Platinum Level Williamsburg Doll House With this Williamsburg dollhouse we've turned up the glam! The pink and purple combination on the exterior, along with the octagon shingles and upgrade turned spindle railings, all really feminize a style that is sometimes seen as more masculine. For the interior, we chose some gorgeous wallpaper patterns, a couple with texture and sheen to add interest. The large, regal living room features a fancy hand gilded fireplace that is so large it needed two sets of logs. The fireplace wall is flanked by custom fit floor to ceiling Corinthian columns. Installing expansive ceiling tile in a room this large is a bit challenging, but makes a big impact with the medallion based crystal chandelier! I personally love the dining room with double candle wall sconces and raised carvings on the wainscot. We custom painted the kitchen floor with a surround of simple leaves which match the wallpaper. Another of my favorites is the green 'marble' tile floor in the bathroom which also has an attached sitting/powder room. The rest of the piece is full of well lit large rooms and hallways, creating a beautiful and very playable dollhouse that will be enjoyed for generations to come! |
