| Our Featured Custom Full Electric Foxhall Manor Dollhouse! Finished pictures below. I have always wanted to build and finish a Foxhall Manor and I am so happy that I finally got the chance. This is one of the most grand dollhouses available and at 68" wide, it is one of the largest as well! The Foxhall Manor is classically open in the back, but also opens at the front bay wall panels for access inside. The impressive front view reminds one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the country with it's stately columns on the front porch and on the addition. The 'slate' tile roof is custom hand painted to achieve a very realistic look. Architectural moulding and roof railing adorns all of the rooftops. We have installed four welcoming brass carriage lamps as well as shiny brass door fittings. My client plans on adding wallpaper as a special, 3-generation project, so the interior is impeccably finished with different shades of creamy, linen white. Throughout this palace, the ceilings are dressed up with embossed tile and pretty medallions or carvings. The glossy dark walnut floors contrast beautifully against the lighter walls and trims. The two story, winding staircase with the dark wood treads, makes an elegant statement in the center foyer, especially when paired with an incredibly lavish 24 arm candle chandelier hanging from the second story ceiling! WOW is the appropriate response when walking into this entry way. All together, there are 30 extra outlets, 33 light fixtures and a total of 88 bulbs in this mini mansion! Every level along the tall stairway is lit with a pair of double candle wall sconces and French doors lead to each room from the foyer and the second floor landing. The extremely large living room boasts four wall sconces dripping with crystals, and a large, marble enhanced, lit fireplace. On the other side of the hallway, you are led into the formal dining room featuring a six candle, crystal-laden chandelier. The double French doors then lead you into the kitchen featuring a high end, granite look tiled floor and a gorgeous, hand made hanging pot rack light fixture by J.Getzan. On one end of the first level you find the Italian style paver floored conservatory with matching Italian style fountain wall. Above the stone wall are three globe sconces and on the other side of the room there are two spotlights which swivel and can be aimed to highlight the fountain, act as uplights, or shine on any feature you want. The other end of the mansion boasts a fine, English library complete with tall bookshelves, a warm, glowing fireplace, and a leather topped desk. The candle sconces, picture light, and floor to ceiling custom panelled walls make this room feel very cozy. The second level is where the bedroom suites are located. The enormous master bedroom showcases another exquisite six arm crystal chandelier and a lit fireplace with a marble look hearth and inset. The master bathroom is large and spa-like with custom wainscotting and a beautiful, beige tiled floor. The second bedroom is fit for a young princess with it's fanciful, hand made rose chandelier by J.Getzan and ceiling carving I painted to match. The adjoining bathroom is tiled in beige and is lit with a glass flower ceiling fixture surrounded by a flower ceiling medallion. Upstairs are a spacious landing and two more large rooms, each with big, sunny skylights. Now, as soon as I can shrink down to five inches tall, I'm moving in! The numerous upgrades in this dollhouse include extra wood floors, tile floors, interior french doors, lit fireplaces, extra ceiling tile, ceiling medallions/carvings, light fixtures, extra fixture installations, built-in library. |
