Hi, my name is Heather. My husband, Tommy, and I started building these wonderful doll houses as a hobby, and have been building them for many years now. We have developed experience, skills and a level of perfectionism that qualifies us as Master Doll House Artisans and makes our doll houses exceptional, among the Best You Will Ever See. We don't just make blind statements, we prove it with our testimonials, update pictures and galleries of our sold doll houses. Tommy does the highest quality electrical work. We use cir-kit concepts tape wire and transformers with solid brass connections. A technique is used that makes our electric work very stable and reliable. He also hardwires fixtures and installs wall outlets. Heirloom quality, finished, electric doll houses are quite rare. In addition to being an entrepreneur of my dream business, I am also a full time wife/mother-of-three/homemaker. It's definitely a time intensive process, from the initial conversations and decision to place an order, to the design process and choices, through the preparatory and building stages, and finally into the finishing phase. Here at fancydollhouses.com we apply three full coats of paint on all painted parts, every piece is individually hand painted, and you will never find glue/paint beads, streaks or globs. We also hand apply real shingle roofs with every house we finish. Most doll houses I build take well over 75 hours, and some up to 450 hours! We also give a FREE $50.00 shipping credit towards your actual shipping bill, plus we pay for all packing, new sturdy boxes, pallet and wood crate materials needed to ship. Currently I have received multiple custom orders for my detailed, heirloom quality, electric doll houses. I figure I can deal with this wonderful and appreciated 'boom' of business in one of two ways. I could raise my prices, citing 'supply and demand', or I could create a waiting list, which is what I have done.
